Singapore, where the situation is a little different. The City-State, a former British colony, has long been a land of migration. Its inhabitants are by majority of origin china, india or malaya.  

December 25th is a holiday for everyone, Christian or not, and celebrate Christmas has become usual for decades.

From the month of November, the city's atmosphere is very festive. The shop windows are decorated, streets lit and full of Christmas trees, and Christmas carols. The largest commercial Avenue, Orchard Road, is the most impressive place, and each year attracts more tourists. Several special events are organized on the theme of Christmas, for example, concerts, parades or shows.  Christmas is celebrated with the family, friends, or colleagues. Many companies organize a small party, and employees offer a gift to the person who has put on luck.
